I think we all agree it'd be handy if the audio volume envelopes let us get more than 6dB gain but my simple workaround is to put say an extra 6dB (or whatever is needed for the 'average' recorded level) gain in the track header.
The only frustration with doing this is the default node value is always 0dB except with say 6dB set in the header it's now actually 6dB. I'd imagine it'd be a simple piece of coding to make the default node value configurable.
Anyone got any thoughts on this idea.
Just to be clear, if you dbl-click a node it goes to 0dB, it'd like a way to change that behavior, so say a dbl-click took it to say -6dB.
