Slide Picture

Struggling with what should be easy I'm sure. Putting one still frame on track one (my before picture), then putting another still frame below it on track two (my after picture). I would like to have the first picture 'slide' down to reveal the second picture. Tried 'cookie cutter', but because the Center Y value won't go more than 1, it won't slide farther than half way down :/ Any help is always appreciated. Thanks. Cin

How about having both pictures on one track and overlapping - say 1 second or more - and then let the transition be something from the "Linear wipe" possibilities?

Have you tried using a regular transition for this?

Put both pictures on the same timeline, with an overlap (crossfade) of the duration you want for the first picture to slide down. Then select your Transitions tab at the lower left of your screen, find a Push or Slide transition you like, and drag it and drop it on the crossfade.

Otherwise, you could use two tracks and use pan/crop on the upper track to slide that picture out of the way, but it sounds like a normal Transition is what you want (which is very easy...)

Ok, so I'm retarded :D Thank you both very much. It worked perfect! I was able to do it with track motion as well, but it was a pain and used an extra track. Thanks so much. Cin
