Slide Show

I'm still working my way through my first project and am looking to have a slide show at the end of the movie ( about 40 pictures) matched to a sound track from my music library.

I believe I have a choice. I could do it in VMS and enter a chapter mark at the start of the slideshow or I could prepare it in DVAS.

Does anybody have any advice on which way I should go? What are the pros and cons of each option?

How I wish I was still using Sony Click to DVD software - this was so easy to do in that program. (does anybody remember that program?)

Preparing the slideshow in DVDA will give you a very basic presentation, basically each slide on the screen for a few seconds and then instantly changing to the next.

If you want to do anything fancy such as time the slides to the music, add transitions, titles, cropping, etc. then do it in Vegas.
