Slide show created with DVDA IT is a Project not a Media File??

OK, I created a Slide Show using slides on the PC but used DVDA as the creator tool. The slide show plays back nicely and everything looks OK but the slide show I just created in NOT a media file and cannot be imported inot DVDA so what good is the Slide show wizzard or tool?? I am missing something here??

Can someone tell me the purpose of the slide show creator when it appears that the only way to get a useful file is to create it outside of DVDA lilke Vegas Video??

Not sure what you're asking. Are you trying to create a standalone .avi of your slide show? Then yes, you'll need to use Vegas. As you've found, DVDA will create a nice one, but its automatically encoded for burning to DVD.
