Slide show special settings?

If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I am putting together a slide show (no video clips) and the color on almost all of my scanned in photos are out of the legal range. Is there an overall project setting to keep the pictures in the right range for broadcast on a television set? Also, if the final presentation is going to be shown with a DVD player and a projector on a big screen, will the colors be the same as a TV or a computer monitor when shown on the big screen? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

You can add the "Broadcast colors" FX to the Preview Window - FX setting. That adds the FX to the entire video.

However.... if you are just playing this via DVD you may find that you do not need to do this anyway (DVD players bring any illegal video into legal values). Note: that's basically what I have read from others who have posted on this in this forum.

The color "balance" of the projected image will be more like that of a computer monitor (LCD).... but sometimes these devices can be setup to display video incredibly badly. Often times the video is washed out.... or too bright... and you really need to adjust the video/projector settings very carefully. I have seen some truly horrible projections of video. Just wanted to warn you so you can be prepared to setup before the show is first played to an audience.
