Sliding Video

I have Vegas 6.0d. I added a video clip on the timeline....then added a second clip....if I try to drag seconf clip to but up with first clip it overlaps all the time and will not butt up evenly? Is there a key command I need to know about? I turned off auto cross fades and ripple but still the clip won't butt up to the other one?

Make sure snapping is turned on (F8).

enable snapping (F8) and you probably want to triple check that Quantize to Frames is enabled. (ALT + F8)

Didn't "Quanitize to Frames" used to be a check box option in the Options menu dialog box?

It seems like "Quanitize to Frames" should be a default selection.
