Just so you know, there was only one post on the DVDA forum but no replies.
So I saved a theme for a 3 page BluRay menu and wanted to use it in the DVD version of the same project but DVDA states "no themes available" when I go to the tab.
Any thoughts as to why?
Thanks very much,
Randy
First of all, thanks very much John, this has worked out perfectly.
As per your advice I opened a new BluRay project and the themes were indeed available so I loaded the already finished BluRay project and changed the media to the DVD and ac3 files (the wav used on the BluRay was too big to fit.).
I just burned a DVD and it starts with play all (from the top) instead of going directly to the 1st page of the menu (but it does go to page 1 of the menu if I press menu on my player remote).
Before I burn another one to see if I've resolved the issue I want to ask if highlighting page 1 in the links and then pressing the icon "set disc start" will force it to start with page 1?
Thanks again John, you've saved me several hours of work!

Not near a workstation now, but "set disk start" edit: first play is the first thing the player executes. You also need to set an active button for each page. Sorry, I'm not able to articulate the verbage per DVD Architectese at the moment.
On the subject of templates, Blu-ray and DVD obviously have different pixel dimensions and PAR. Assets in a template for one would require the other be encoded when the disk is created. If you'd rather resize your assets yourself in another application, you could create menus, etc. that won't be recoded when the disk is made. There are Blu-ray themes and DVD themes. On the rare occassion when I do a set of menus, I make them 1920x1080 and let DVD Architect recode them if I make a DVD.
