I just recently bought a 40" Sony Bravia to use as a display in my office. I hooked up my 2nd editing computer to it via DVI to HDMI. When using either Vidcap or Scenelyzer to capture, I cannot see the video, only hear it. If I just hit the play button just to watch it, I can see the video fine, just not in capture mode. I doubled checked to make sure that Always Preview Video is selected. In addition, I cannot see any video clip that is played thru either WMP or VLC Media Player. If I put it on the timeline, I can see it with the video preview. I updated to the latest nVidia drivers, but it didn't help. I didn't have this problem when I had my computer monitors hooked up to it.
