SloMo: Too much of it... solution?

I probalby went too much into slowing down clips in a project (stretching the clips: ctrl hold ;and drag...). Now when I render and print to tape, I get these stoboscopic effects... I tried rendering with quality set to "best" and adding gaussian blur into rendering (0,75 sec.). Even worse, looks like I was shooting on LSD with a "high stress level" and cafeine concentration in blood that would get me into Guiness book of Records... But that could be a special effect in another project, anyway...
Do you creative people here have a solution ? What would be the best option to minimise the "aftermath effects" ?
Thangz a lowt.... I'm so happy you all exist....

I can't change all the clips to use vel. envelopes instead of stretching the events 'cause it would take too much time now. But on my next projects, you can be sure I'll do somes tests before editing . I rendered with "best" setting. Bad. I tried with "best" setting and gaussian blur setting (0,75). Worse. And I mean WORSE.

The interlace filter you're telling me about, where is it located? I right-clicked on the event and there's no "interlace" setting anywhere. I checked in preferences... didn't see it. Is it the "lower field first/ upper field first" thing in the rendering box?

Now, I'll try rendering with a lower quality. Maybe the lower quality itself will cause these imperfections to go unoticed... I'll give you the results.
Thanks and I'm gonna check again to find the "interlace" option...

My projects tend to have lots of slow motion. Rather than modifying each event and turn on Resample, I just made a modification to the AVI NTCS preset and enabled the Resample option there. I also use the Best option but I don't select the Interlace option or blur, and the results are very smooth and clear. It takes a bit longer to render, but I do that before I go to bed.

Another way is just hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the event left or right to adjust the amount of slow motion. I've never seen any bad of effects due to going back and forth, trying to adjust speed. You can tell how much you've moved the event by the ziz zag pattern on the timeline.

Resample is the key. Make sure to enable it.

I concur: enable Resample on all video events (select all, right-click, Switches, Resample: checked).

Hell yes, that was it. I enabled all the "resample" switches for the slowed down clips at different times but I must have closed the program without saving ... so a few of them went back to "not resampled"... mphhh.... exactly the ones that caused me trouble...
thanks again
