Slow down the easy way?

I have a number of clips that need to be slowed down (I know, Playback Rate in Properties) but is there a way so the clip pushes everything in its front so that i don't have to stretch the clip? I mean i have those exact cuts and now don't want to second quess where the clwed down (thus longer) clip has to end when slowed down.

If you have ripple edits enabled, you can Ctrl-Drag the clip out longer. This will slow it down and simultaneously pussh everything to the right farther down the timeline. All your cuts will be preserved. The only problem is that you don't know exactly what percentage you are using.
