I'm new to the Vegas Software, only got it last month. I'm trying to find out how to use slow motion on the Vegas Movie Studio 9 software as I need it for a few images.
Sorry to ask again but I don't quite understand on how to resize the clip longer. Where would you go to do this. (I've been using Magix for years so everything is placed differently from sony so I'm still have trouble finding how to do things I'm used to working in old software) Sorry about this but certain things are still a tad confusing.
PLace your curser on the end of the clip in the time line and when it turns to a rectangle with one dottetd side then move it to the right, all the while holding down the left mouse button. and the control button. This will extend the length of the clip. Accordingly, if the clip is longer it will have to take longer to play hence it slows the motion down. A squiggly line will be drawn through the clip on the time line to show you that the speed has been changed. Conversely you can drag it shorter to play it faster, speed up the action.
A belated thanks for the advice (been away) and sorry for sounding thick but whenever I try and do this all I get if the clip repeating, not slow motion.Tipping on the top rectangle seems to simply not do anything. It goes to fade on the other direction of course. I'm still utterly confused how to get slow motion. Will try again of course but is there another way to do this.
