Slow or freezing issues when editing a video - English or Spanish

Good night, I hope you are well.

"By the way I'm Latin in case you see the media info in Spanish"

These days I have been testing with OBS, recording games with the following configuration:

In this case, I did the test with Genshin Impact and the 19-minute video ended up weighing 1.5 gigabytes.

I'm working on Vegas pro 22

I attach the mediainfo of the video

The problem is when I start working on it, the preview starts to freeze little by little and when I see the performance of my hardware with the MSI Afterburner it is somewhat exaggerated.
High usage peaks are generated and the RAM memory is completely occupied.

This is the first Gamenplay that I recorded at 60 fps since until now I always did it at 30 because I didn't have a good graphics card.

The configuration I have in Vegas is the following:

My computer has a Ryzen 5500 processor, an Nvidia 3060 graphics card, 16 GB of RAM at 3000 Hz, a 120 GB SDD disk, a B550 A-PRO MSI motherboard with updated drivers.

I would appreciate if anyone has passed this along or if you can give me a suggestion or guide to see if I have to change something in the OBS configuration or if my PC is not good enough to work with Vegas pro 22.

One setting to change is keyframe interval from auto to 1 for faster playback.

As you only have 16GB of ram, I'd give dynamic ram preview less (5 or 10% is enough).

Good evening, I see, thank you very much for your recommendation.
I'm going to try it and see how it goes.
Suddenly there is a post that talks about what that function does? I was investigating and I almost always see that they recommend setting it between 30% to 40% depending on the RAM you have.

I have 32GB of ram and give it 10 percent as I make ram previews for the transitions and other parts that play back poorly.

Dynamic ram preview is just a preview buffer and doesn't improve performance beyond a few GB. Ignore the bad recommendations online.

Ah okay, then I'll leave it at 5%, because I don't know if they are my recordings or if I lack power since while I edit a camera recording, the preview starts to stick a lot.

I mean, it's a gameplay that I did as a test but the preview is very sticky.

For gameplay try OBS, save as AVC and set the key frame interval to 1.

This is the last question and I won't bother you anymore.

In the output options?

What a shame, I'm just slowly learning the subject of recording and I don't see where to select the AVC option.

That's how I've been configuring it, I tested the encoder with HEVC and H.264 but I think Vegas Pro doesn't work very well with HEVC or that's what I was reading.
