- using VideoFactory 2.0c with the new MainConcept MPEG1 and MPEG2 Professional components
- computer is 700 Mhz Pentium, 256MB RAM
- disk capacity is 30GB + 160GB not fragmented
- OS is Windows XP Pro (but also same problem with Windows 2000 Pro)
- the "Alaska Trip" 30 seconds demo that comes with VF2 renders in about 5 minutes
- a 5 minute video clip renders in about 30 minutes
- a 1 hour 59 minute clip renders in about 10-11 hours
Can anyone advise me on how to speed the rendering up so I can get my work done on this stuff?
I have looked at other slow rendering entries in the forum and tried those tips but to no avail.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.
