Slow when going back to the vegas app again

PacoDeCasa wrote on 1/11/2024, 5:17 AM

Hi all...

When I edit with vegas, I usually have another applications where I write scripts, order.... some other kind of things.... the fact is that everytime I change focus (windows 11) from vegas to another application.... going back to Vegas takes a looooong time, I suppose it reads again alll the files or whatever they do, but this is very frustating, as it happens all the time....

Maybe there is a configuration option for "locking" the files or whatever they do so I can go back to vegas really fast...

According to your 'Signature', your desktop is an i7-4770 which is below the recommended specs for VP19+ for HD as well as being well below recommended specs for 4K - my previous computer was an i7-4770 so I experienced similar delays at the time with VP18 or thereabouts.

If you've updated your computer, it would be great if you would update the info in your 'Signature'.

Options - Preferences - uncheck the "Close files when not the active application" (or something like that.)
