slowing down the sound

hey, i have a piece of sound taht i want to slow down -- extend it by just a second. I was wondering how do i do it?

Place the cursor at the very end of the clip, hold down the CTRL key and drag it to the new length. I'd put a marker (M key) one second after the end of the clip to make this easier.
