Smart Resample

In V4, is there a way to have "Smart Resample" as the default switch? Every event I add always has it disabled. If there's an option for this default setting, I can't seem to find it.

Smart resample is the default. Hold down ctrl+shift then restart Vegas 4 and you should see smart resample enabled by default for all video events.

[ctrl+shift>restart Vegas resets all settings to the factory defaults.]

Was this originally a VV3 veg file - I have a project I have moved over to V4 and the events are mostly disabled for resampling.

Is the default smart resample for new projects only?

Thanks for the replies (SonicEPM & WhiteBalance). This was a VV3 file. I tried out a brand new project and Smart Resample is the default.
