@Jeff-Schroeder & do you have Warp Flow in your transitions list? & have deleted everything in C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\19.0 then restart Vegas

Former user wrote on 8/8/2022, 3:36 PM

@Jeff-Schroeder @eddie-becker can you go to your icon at the top, click it - My Profile, & fill in your Signature with your Vegas version, Windows version & system specs, full name of CPU, GPU, & amount of RAM etc. this will then show at the bottom of the comments, thanks.

@eddie-becker You don't need most of what you've put in your Signature

Is this just one PC?

Windows 10 or 11? it says both in your signature

Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-7900X CPU @ 3.30GHz

32GB RAM

GPU NVIDA GeForce 1080Ti

@Jeff-Schroeder @eddie-becker Ok, the only other thing that isn't mentioned when apps of plugins don't work properly is to clear Windows Temp crap,

Go to Settings - System - Storage - Temp files (might be different Windows 11), tick all boxes & delete, Windows keeps old versions & thumbnails etc. that can clutter stuff up,

Delete the files in C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\19.0, these will get rebuilt next time you open Vegas,

Add Vegas to any virus software's Exception & Allowed Apps list like AVG,

& Restart PC, don't Shut Down, Restart it, Shut Down doesn't properly turn it off but Restart does,

Vegas will be slow to open after you've restarted PC because it's rebuilding those files, also thumbnails in Windows files etc will have to get rebuilt so they will be a bit slow first time opening, but this will clear out a lot of crap & files will open as normal second time around. You won't loose settings etc, this is just a clear out not a reset..

Thanks, Gid. I've already performed all this before. The only thing that has worked so far is to revert to an earlier version of Vegas Pro 19! But this is not an elegant solution.

This is strange; the promotion for the soon-to-be-released Vegas Pro 20 features "Optical Flow mode for Warp Flow and Smart Split," which is weird since it was already introduced as a feature in December 2021 in VEGAS Pro 19 update 3! It worked back then with both updates 3 and 4 but as soon as I upgraded 5 - it was gone!

Does Magix sometimes exclude features that were once included - leave them out in an update and reintroduce them with fanfare in the next version as if they were a brand new feature? Is this a marketing ploy or some screw-up?

See for yourself here's the promo - https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/specials/presale/here-it-comes/?fbclid=IwAR2KbbnYxfoiguT_poc8R1nvGLMApkhRHQuQRcIbfJcO9eDEe9F48PM3i64
