Smooth Fast Motion in Movie Studio 14

scubanw67 wrote on 10/10/2017, 8:30 PM

I accelerated a movie by 300% and rendered in 1920x1080 60p. The starting GoPro mp4 was in the same resolution and fps. I played the finished video and noticed distinct replicated images along both sides, as if individual frames had been stacked. Is there any way to smooth this out? I often work in GoPro Studio and utilize their Flux feature for velocity changes to smooth the finished movie. Any help is appreciated.

Try - Disable Resample in your Clips Properties or Switches.

I have been unable to find a resample option. I am in Movie Studio 14 and my properties box shows the following:

What version do you have? Are you on the latest build? The first VMS14 builds did not contain the resample option. The latest one (build 148 for Platinum suite) does.

The basic VMS14 doesn't have the option, only Platinum and only the latest build as Mark mentions.

I have version 14.0 (build 91) Platinum. Sounds like I might be a little behind the current build. Unable to find an update option in Movie Studio. Do I just download the current file off the website...enter my serial number again?

Download and install build 148 (found here). No need to enter serial number again, but you will need to be online to activate it when you start it after installing.
