Smoothness setting

I am doing a massive project of ~500 stills. The stills are mainly panned/cropped to focus on the interesting parts of the photos, some zooming and moving accross slowly.
The Event Pan/Crop and the Track Motion have a smoothness parameter. This one sets a certain smooth path between keyframes. I do not like this smoothness, so I change this value to 0% wherever I have such a keyframed movement.
Is there a way to have this set to 0% as a default for a new imported media, rather than changing each keyframe (remember: 500 photos * 2 keyframes = at least 1000 times!)

I'm sorry, there's not way to set the default smoothness for any new keyframe; however, when new keyframes are created on a given row, they inherit the smoothness setting from the previous keyframe. So, for Track Motion, once you set the first keyframe to 0% smooth, add the ones you make after it will also be 0%.

I just went through a similar project with approx. 200 pictures and had to change the smoothness setting for each keyframe to 0%.
You would think that it would be an easy fix to make Smoothness an item to be changed in Preferences.
