Set your project to progressive and render out to Mpeg2 HD 720p template @60fps and change the resolution setting in thempeg2 template to 720x480/4:3 display.

I was amazed at how smooth that plays back.

all without supersampling (4x) with a 0.002 blur? well done firstly!, and what has added to the smoothness - do you think?
Did you playback on the PC or to an HD monitor?

well, what I am talking about is the movement anc overall clarity. I am rendering at 60fps at normal DV resolution.

Thats a wmv rendered at 500k@60fps. I don't know if I am imagining it or what but to me it looks clear and very smooth moving.

*edited*could be that was the first time I tried a camera crane. doh!

for that clip, I selected the 1mb 720/60p HD wmv template and modifed it to 500k, and changed the resolution to 320x240@4:3 aspect. Is there a way I can export file templates, if there is I can upload it.

hmm, I am messing around a bit more with this and I am having good results getting very smooth slow motion vel. envelope effects with this too.

And it is not smooth camera work that is making the difference BTW. I am testing it on some bumpy video I shot from a moving car today and it still comes out smooth moving.
