Snapshot is different resolution

Project settings and all numbers on preview window show 720x480 but the rendered snapshots are 654x480, as jpeg or png.
??? Anyone???

720x480 is standard DV resolution, but with a pixel aspect ratio of 0.9090909.... When you save a still image it is converted to an aspect ratio of 1.0 since most photo editing software works with square pixels. 720 x 0.9090909... = 654.5454...
