Snapshot Question

Hello all.

Just a quick question.

I'm worried that I may have a problem with my Z1 as I seem to have a flicker at the top of the image.

I've just taken a snapshot using Vegas 7 and can clearly see a black line at the top of the image.

If you follow this link you will see the image:-

Should this be there and it's just something that Vegas does or could this have been created by this possible camera fault?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Gareth

Many cameras have black edges around the frame. Usually it's never noticed because most televisions cut off a small amount of the edge of the picture. You notice it in Vegas because Vegas shows the whole frame.

My suggestion is to ignore it and not worry about it.

I don't know your camera, but on my camera, the black line that flickers at the top is caused by the stabilization feature.

You could try turning that off, if you are on a tripod. Otherwise, as stated before, you can normally ignore it because it won't be see on a TV.
