Hi can you confirm me this long time:
My cpu is p4 3,2c ghz and every time I expote the dv to svcd ntsc for 10 minutes of védio,I have to wait for about 1h45.
Is it normal or not
Can you help me how to win the time and without lost quality.
thanks
1. number of tracks
2. type/number of transitions
3. application of filters, which ones, how many
4. changes in frame size/rate
5. rendering quality settings
Plus to a lessor extent how much memory you have, if or not you are using your PC for other tasks while you're rendering, free system resources, how bad the drive you're rendering to is fragemented, etc., etc..
If you're doing a fairly complex project you're asking Vegas to do a lot, so it takes time. So while it may seem long, ratios of 6 to 1, even 10 to 1 can be "normal" as far as how long it takes to render.
Thanks,
I have 1024 mo ddr ram (2x512) pc 3200, 400mhz
hdd=80go,7200tr/mn,
I only use :
1 track for védio with autofade :it have 11 ou 12 timeline (dv import)
1track for the text media for the subtitle and cookie cutter like fx (number=10)
not filter
always the same frame rate
render as svcd ntsc and not other application.
