I agree! Development Cycle be damned. Profits (or minimizing losses) be damned! Let's have updates until z or every single bug is fixed for every single person. No development on version upgrades until then.
Oh yeah. When SoFo goes out of business because they aren't developing new products and features we we'll be stuck with a dead product.
Normally, I would expect that what he was looking for was a free update. Not that I blame him. But, I personally, can't wait for the final Vegas 4.0. It looks like it will be worth the wait and the price.
To tell you the truth, I haven't even scratched the surface of VV3. I don't even know what I could be missing it works so well for me. But DVD Architect... big need for that. I hope I can afford it.
It seems to me stusy started another negative thread the same way and when asked what bugs or changes were needed there was no response. I see this as useless until he (she) states what the problem is, asks for help or contacts SoFo.

Actually..? I was a "late bloomer", and didnt' get VV3 until about 3-4 months ago...how long was the "c version" around...? I thot so...turn that frown upside down...!
...meant to be derrogatory people, come on..! this is a good prod from a good company (or companies, depending on), my point is it was VV3.0c for soooo long, wasn't it..? be fun to have a nice "closure" to it, like maybe the "enhancement" that is in VV4, could just a little bit, be in VV3d...? whaddaya think..?
I'm sure that if you looked at the bug logs of Windows XP you'd find it runs in the thousands. But it is stable, and imho a nice computing environment.
