SoFo do I need to update to vers. 1.1 of .Net...

Hello, I currently run version 1.0 of .NET in my XP-Home computer. Also, I have a 56k dialup so downloading takes awhile.

My question is, should I update to version 1.1 of the .NET Framework or is the current vers. 1.0 .NET that I have installed enough (or even more compatible) with Vegas4 scripting needs?

Thanks!

If it's working, why change????

1.0 is fine. However, if a script comes with a .net assembly (a .dll-file) you may have to upgrade to 1.1 since many developers (well, me...) use the latest version of Visual Studio. There are ways around it though.

So, in short, you don't have to upgrade for normal scripts just yet.

Thanks!

I guess I'll put it off for awhile...
