Soft Contrast & Defocus!

Just a word to those who HAVEN'T yet tried these gorgeous FXs, DO IT NOW! - They are terrific. I've just used them on stills and when augmented with keyframes and with judicious use of Panning, marvellous. And yes, I do have Magic Bullet looks too, but these simple to use and keyframeable variations are making Vegas come even more alive.

This NLE suite just gets better and better and better.

Thanks Madison,

Grazie

The soft contrast filter is one of the most useful filters for film look and stylist looks that I have ever seen. You can do so much with just the one filter and it renders very quickly. I will bet that most folks have not put it through its paces or Magic Bullet and others would be loosing a lot of sales.

These new filters are just outstanding!
I use the soft contrast on many occasions.

There is also this free plugin which I also use on a regular basis for color correction:
AAV ColorLab 1.0 release candidate (32-bit and 64-bit)

With these filters I just don't use Magic Bullet much, especially since there is no 64-bit.

Thanks Grazie, I had overlooked these new filters. The Soft Contrast is delicious. How about an example of how you are using the Defocus in your animated stills?
