[Solved]: Vegas Pro 18 Suite Zynaptic Unveil does not show up

wiel-gulpen wrote on 10/1/2020, 3:56 AM

I followed the installation procedure for Vegas Pro 18 Suite.

The manual of Zynaptiq Unveil Vegas Edition says: 'When you launch VEGAS Pro 18 for the first time after installation, the activation procedure for UNVEIL VE will start automatically.'

When starting up Vegas Pro 18 I don't see Zynaptiq Unveil. I also see it not at the VST-plugins?

Does somebody know the solution?

Wiel

I solved the problem. I found the directory of this VST2 plugin and added it manually to the preferences of Vegas Pro.

Where did you find it? I'm in the same boat (Unveil not showing up automatically) and no plugin.

EDIT: OK, for others that are lost, I found it under C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2.

Hi. Can you please advise exactly how to add this to Vegas preferences? Sorry for asking perhaps a basic question!

Many thanks!

Go to 'Preferences' and VST plugins and manually search (Alternate VST search folder) in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2. Eventually a refresh.

VST <.dll> files can usually be moved to an alternate VST folder (for instance, Steinberg, if that is where most of your VSTs live and you wish to consolidate the audio VSTs. They must stay within the root 'Program files' though (x64 and x86).
