Excellant stuff although the 5-shot rule video grossed me out a little with the tongue-piercing shot! :)

I got the Hollywood Camera Work course and rate it 5 out of 5.

It teaches the language of camera movement better than you could get out of several $1,000 units at USC Film School.

Mark Holmes worked for several years on distilling the essence of it, and that's why I like it so much.

There is absolutely no fluff, you can't go even go pee without hitting the pause button anywhere on these DVDs.

Ken, http://www.hollywoodcamerawork.us dvds are the best. ILM and PixAR tell many new 3d anim. artists to study theses dvds to learn how to layout and shoot film, so the 3d anim. viewing angles look "right". as Coursedesign stated, Per Holmes is a great educator.

I bought the hollywood dvds as well and it's the best money I've spent in ages. Definitely get them if you have any interest in filmmaking.
