Can someone please give a few simple resolution examples.
A very low resolution - and a medium -
I find the Default resolution much too good for my current uses and am slightly overwhelmed by all the Settings in the Resolution Menu! :-)
That really depends entirely on what you want to accomplish. When you say "too good", what are your current uses? Why is it too much resolution? What problems are you having that you want to solve by changing the resolution?
If you're talking about making the file small enough to stream over the web, then here are some starting guidelines:
- For a dialup audience try 56Kbps quarter frame (160x120 or so) 15fps.
- For broadband audience try 256Kbps half frame (320x240). If you don't have much action then 15fps will result in a much clearer picture. If you have lots of action then 30fps will produce smoother motion.
- For high-bandwidth audience that wants very good quality try 1500Kbps or more at full frame (640x480) 30fps.
Or are you talking about importing still pictures and what size they should be?
