Oh Man! - Thanks for the recog.

AND yes I'm reeeeeeally taking to Media Manager. It is one Shed Load of s/w! I'm real sorry that some of our friends here are having issues with it. All I can say is that it did load - eventually - in ACID. You DO have to be patient with the initial thing .. . took a bit if time.

I've got Gary Rebnoltz's DVD Tute on ACID 5. There is a whole section devoted to MM. Truthfully? I couldn't have got this close to using it without it. I'm hoping what I've learnt from his Tute, I can "swing-over" to V6 MM . .. must be the same - yeah?

Best regards,

Grazie

Hey, Graz.

I'm starting to think that Media Manager may be especially useful for OFFLINE media. What do you think?

Without trying to be a jerk, I'd say yes, that's "the whole point" of the MM.

Look at it this way -- you want a good workflow that can tie into a pro envronment, you'd need an Avid or something that works like an Avid. Put good media management, HD and AAF support into an NLE and you're done -- you're free to ditch Avid or work along side it -- either way you're coming out ahead of the game.
