This is a great wedding video...who needs more? Uhm... the bride probably and maybe the mothers.. but anyone else would be happy as a pig in filth to watch this in lieu of a long wedding video.
Did you give the groom the song to practice before hand? He did a pretty good job on the lip sync. Transistions were spot on and I like the color play. Very nice work indeed.

Agree with Jim H. 11/10.
I cut a wedding video once, man did I cop grief for cutting out the shot of Uncle George with his finger up his snout :)

Lubberly! Lubberly! Lubberly!

Now Cheems, you HAVE to put it into the IOV Awards - really!

Excellent, lively, HUMOUROUS and plainly truly engaging piece.

Grazie

Yes, well done Zcheema - best wedding video I've seen for ages.
I've read that the average number of times wedding videos are viewed is 2 point something.
This will undoubtedly put the average up.

I thank you for all the very kind comments and hope I can keep up the work.
The couple were very keen to do this and valued the video more then the photos,(pressure on) but felt they had to have them
The shots were all done in the normal time you get in a photo shoot about 2 hours and I think my bits came to about 25 minutes, they had practiced and planned it with so as not to take up to much time.

Here is the clients page on my website.

Way cool. Definitely a good twist on the Old, Boring, Wedding Video.

I would suggest 'Drop Shadows' on the text just so it stands out when it's up against White. (like her wedding dress)

- Who's the band?
Laurence wrote on 9/29/2008, 11:40 AM
Love it! What's the band that did this?

Yeah it looks a lot better in high quality off the Youtube site.

I think this may be the most enjoyable wedding video I've seen. Good job! :-)
Zulqar-Cheema wrote on 9/29/2008, 12:18 PM
The band is "Scouting For Girls"
the Song Is " She so lovely"

The original bands video is on youtube, not as good as mine, even if I say so

The band have actually seen the video on line. loved it and gave the couple a free pair of tickets to see their show.

dont forget to Vote for it...

Here's the original:

Yeah, yours is better. Great song. Maybe you can talk them into having you do their next video.

Very cool vid! Shouldn't we all have wedding videos like that? If we did, I'd even watch one about my wedding.

What is "half a maryoke"?

Zulqar-Cheema wrote on 9/30/2008, 1:03 PM
A Maryoke is a full "pop" video all footage is choreographed where as mine are on a budget and uses footage from the day as well, so i call them a 1/2 maryoke as it is only part "pop" part wedding (sounds like an introduction to a horror movie)

The online voting site is now up and running there was a glitch in the system
