Liam - Thanks for that. - I didn't think to ask why the copmpany was supplying a Pyro and not going directly to the MoBo, as mentioned above. But your post here throws some light on it - hmmm.....

I'll also follow-up the wierd, ""computer not booting from operating system"... voice . .

But all in all, your system is very similar to the one I'm planning . . what has been your experience with it? . . Previewing to PC monitor and analogue TV/monitor? Hyperthreading? Are you using this for workflow advantages? - I really wanna know . . are you UK based . . or a NEW world insomniac?!!

Thanks, really,

Grazie

Hi Grazie, I have the pretty much the same setup as yours and am recieving the same voice message, "computer not booting from operating system" when booting up yet it runs fine. Just wondering if you found the fix. I am sure that it is a bios setting but thought I would consult you before completely jacking my system.

Hi Grazie.

My opinion... 360watt power supply seems "just right". Make sure it's a good quality model that REALLY puts out 360 watts.
Not all power supplies are created equal.
If you can find the brand and model number, check the web for reviews.

Wow... this takes me back.

I cannot remember what I did to fix the weird voice-announcement. It was so long ago. It may have been that I simply disabled that "feature" in the BIOS.

Grazie

I have just built a system with this mo/board and 2 gig or ram, it has a Nvidia dual head card with 3 drives. 2 120 gigs and a 40 gig system drive. I also just bought a Viewsonic 19" flattie that is outstanding in Picture quality.
It is all in a Thermaltake Tower that has 6 fans plus a 550 watt psu.

For the first time I can preview on best full and I just get a slight wobble in picture on simple media, but I am very pleased with how it has made Vegas much faster and easier to use. I am in the UK up North.
