Some pink events on timeline

I am editing a video in Vegas Pro 8 and noticed that some of the events on the timeline have a pinkish background instead of white. I can't find an explanation in the help or the forum search. What is Vegas trying to tell me?

Audio and Video are out of sync.

Thanks for the speedy response! I did know that it was about sync at one time but had forgotten! Don't edit much these days.
