Some problem with cursor & clips out of split position (screenshot)

Hello, I have a problem which I have no idea what it's called & therefore I can't find a solution on internet.

I had a clip, I split it at certain parts, then, after some time passed, I opened saved SEG file & now, when I go with the "timeline cursor" (I don't know how exactly it's called, but it's that big grey cursor) to the split part between two clips, my cursor just wont go there, instead, it stops a little bit on the right/left side but not in the middle - you can see this in my screenshot where I can't put that grey timeline cursor in the blue line (split zone). Just want to warn you that turning off option "Quantize to Frames" is not a solution for me since I never turned it off when I split these clips back then.

It split between frame boundaries. Not sure how if you did not turn off "quantize". You could turn off quantize to see if it allows the cursor to position there. The cursor can fall between frames, but should not allow you to split between frames if quantize is on. What is the frame rate of your project?

Seems to me that it is working as it should - by stopping on frame boundaries only. How it got split between frames I cannot say, as you have said you always edit with quantize ON. In any case, does it really matter? Just cut it at a frame boundary and move on...it's a fraction of a fraction of a second.

the thing is, I have like 200 clips, all with this weird problem, & I just want to discover whether I correct manually the ones I need (a big pain in the ass), or whether there is something that adjust clips at once.

If they are out consecutively and by the same amount then maybe rippling moved them all and you could use rippling to move them back.

tried, only some of them got into position. The thing is, I have no idea what made them out of position O_O

Vegasaur has a "one click" command called Quantize all video events. Might work.

Be aware, Vegas Pro (at least through 14) remembers the state of the Quantitize to Frames switch when it is closed and the state remains in place when Vegas Pro is started the next time. It's possible that even though you didn't turn it off during this project, it was off when Vegas was closed from a past project and remained off when you created this project.

Well, this might be, but I'm only sure about the end result. Though, thank you.
