well, I finally found out that there is a "logging" type tool in Vegas. After filling in a bunch of markers, I couldn't find a way to access a list of all those markers and notes. Turns out you can do this in the View -> Edit Details option. Very nice indeed.

Some possible suggestions for this functionality:

1. Add the ability to print out directly from this page.
2. Add a "jump to" option that will jump to that point in your timeline.
3. Add perhaps a "crossthrough" button that allows you to cross out events, markers as you use them.

otherwise, i'm still learning vegas everyday, and loving it...
