Something I hate about keying events FX...

Is there a way to avoid this behavior :

I got a whole project on T/L . 4 minutes long.

While in the FX window with two FX I'm working on, when I'm zoomed in the keying T/L at the bottom of the window, I can work on an effect but as soon as I click on the other FX keying T/L just above or under, the zoom gets back to the original "whole T/L" position.
I'd really like the zoom state to STAY AS IS, regardless of which FX keyline I'm switching on...
I so much hate that behavior. Makes me lose so much time finding my keys back everytime.

Something I didn't get in the manual?

It's a bug.

You mean, I have a bug or it's normal (bugging) behavior? 0_0 ?

It's a "feature" - that's very irritating.

God bless ya for bringing this up. I've cursed about this specific " bug " that has plagued me for years a million times, but never seem to remember to bitch about it while I'm on the forums.

Crossing my fingers and knocking on wood that this is fixed in 6. At least we can hope ...

Right on Muttley. Same for me but today, I was so pesting about it (heavy keying involved) that I took time to "write it down" here.
I'm crossing my fingers too.

I've recently coined a good phrase to describe Vegas: "Its greatest strengths are its weaknesses". Feel free to turn it around the other way.

Maybe, I can't say for sure as I'm not by Vegas right now, but I think if you click first on the selector dots at the far left of each the keyframe row, you can prevent that zooming when selecting keyframes with different zoomed position on.
