Sony CRX160E CD Writer NOT supported????

vburleson wrote on 1/26/2001, 8:00 AM
I just purchased a Dell computer and had it shipped with
Sony's new CRX160E cd writer - I am using and have been
using Sound Forge for some time now and I want to be able
to burn cd's using CD Architect, BUT my cd writer is not on
the list of supported writers. HELP!!! Are there any
upgrades to fix this problem. The cd writer is AWESOME and
I hate not being able to use CD Architect - my only other
option is using EZ CD Creator which is not much of an
option in my eyes.

My work email is vburleson@mindspring.com - please reply to
both email addresses if you don't mind as I am a little
anxious to start using my software again.

Thank you advance for your support.

I received the following from tech support last October.
This worked for me:
