I installed the update. I seem to have a problem with DVD-A and 4x DVD+R though.

At the end of the burn, the tray ejects and a completion message appears. The tray will no longer retract after this, until the machine is rebooted. It's not a Sony issue though - RecordNowDX lets me burn copy after copy without this issue.

DVD-A does not exhibit this behavior with other formats and/or speeds however....

push the tray back in manually, go to my computer, right click on the drive, and it will eject and work again.

I haven't had this happen in a few weeks, but it used to happen with every burn via DVDA. Don't know what fixed it, but something must have.

Ok thanks - I'll try that next time.

Seems odd that 2.4x DVD+R burns (or any speed DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW) don't cause this.
