Sony HDR-SR1E / UX1E

Looking for an officlal line in AVC-HD. I am looking to use a Sony AVC-HD device (consumer I know).

This is mainly because it is a HD format that will play back on PS3 / Blu-ray and I can't afford the $50000 for Blu-print ^_^

HDV --> AVC-HD disc works for me too!

Any word on AVC-HD support for Vegas / DVD Architect? (I am currently on Vegas 7.0B / DVD-Archi 4.0)

AVC-HD support will be included in a free update to Vegas in Spring 2007

So that means as of right now Vegas can't read/process/use video off the SR1 AT ALL?

Nobody ELSE handles this format either...... which means, right now at least, there is NO NLE support - not even from the maker of the camera's software arm?
