Sony help?Ok I loaded vegas 5 on a machine that also has Multi Media Builder and....

now multi media will not allow any videos to be used in a project. This did not happen with vegas 4 on board. As soon as I installed vegas 5 this happened. Any clues? Also can you repro the cd region probs I had described earlier?
P.s. should I uninstall vegas 4?

Can't help you with your main problem, sorry.
According to posts from SONY, V4 and V5 can co-exist on the same machine with no problems.

I have MMB4.95 and the trial version of V5 on my system and have no problem playing a WMV file in an MMB project.

I wouldn't go blaming Vegas quite so fast. Check and verify your video object properties settings and make sure it's pointing to where it should.
