Sony is this a known glitch? Re: Bezier Mask Displacement

I was doing some work with the bezier masking tool and noticed a problem when zooming ALL the way in on the clip. Whenever I zoomed all the way in (or a few notches away from full zoom) the mask would be displaced from the clip. In other words the mask would shift, out of place, when zoomed in.

Has anyone encountered this?

Another recend odditie I encountered was the inability to move any of the corners in the pan/crop tool. I tried on several clips and it seemed locked in place. When I moved my cursor over the edge I'd get the arrow to resize when when I dragged nothing happened. Subsequently I saved the project, shut down Vegas, then reloaded Vegas and re-opened the project and the problem was gone.

You sure this isn't a graphics card issue? I just tried to repro this, no shift happening here.

I have the Radeon 9800 Pro if that's any relevance. I have been able to zoom in without the mask shifting out of place but only if I zoom slowly. It seems to happen more when I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to zoom and I do it slightly swiftly. I've even found I can find the threshold before the mask shifts where one click of the mouse wheel closer and the mask seems to snap off target to the right of the intended placement. Once click back again and the mask snaps back into place. It's happens on the far end of the zoom scale maybe one or two notches from full zoom.

I'll fiddle with it some more and see how responds. Maybe I can give better directions to possibly recreate what I'm seeing. Thanks for the reply.

I've had this happen too.
Somewhere inbetween 200 and 300% zoom, the mask displaces, then at the higher magnification, jumps back into register.
Also, if working at the edge of the picture, it "warps" slightly.
The mask is still in the correct place, just the points for it move out of register.
I'm using an ATI Radeon 9700.
