You'd be surprised at the legal snafu's involved here. Just think about what had to go into producing this library with all the various directors, producers, sound designers, copyrights, asset management, etc, etc.
I realize many people thought this libe was gone a while back, but Sony Media Software's guys don't quit. They are awesome folks to have on your team.
At the launch of the HDV cam in NYC this week, the press also met this library. It went over quite well with everyone there.
I was hoping there would be some sort of promotional introductory price for this for those of us who have already "invested" so heavily in Sony Media Software. <sigh> That means I'm back to scrounging under the cushions on the couch!
There is! They have a $399.00 price on it on the site. Click the links, or go to the Sony homepage, and you'll see the price break. I just wasn't permitted to comment on the price reduction in the review.
I'm being flippant here OK!
I was interested to note that the EULA prevents me from on selling this to North Korea! Have I missed something, are these guys giving up on uranium enrichment and instead developing some sort of doomsday sound FX bomb?
