Sony Training dvds

Has anyone tried the Sony Training DVDs
(1) Digital Video & Audio Production (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/products/product.asp?pid=496), and
(2) The Seminar Series (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/products/product.asp?pid=495)?

I see these are on sale, but I don't know whether it would be better to buy these or some dvds from VASST.

thanks

Hi

I have the ones made before the 'pro' ones. They were quite good, but to be honest, I like the VASST ones better - but as said, I have not tried the new ones.

...the digital video & audio production book and dvd lesson exercise files are a good step by step process to get down the fundamentals for vegas...nothing overly fancy or overly complex but will give one a good foundation of how vegas operates...and always a good reference book to have around...plus on sale currently so not a bad price for something you'll always keep around...

...i would think the vasst dvd's would cover more and be explained more "real world"...imho...

Thanks for the info, guys. Sounds like VASST is the better option.

Thanks!
