Last night I looked at an ad for Sony Vaio in PC Magazine, and it mentioned they were bundled with a video editing package. I called their number and the agent said that it came with a package I'd never heard of (DVCam or DVsomething??) Anyway, I asked if there was an upgrade to Vegas, since Sony now owns Vegas. The agent said he never heard of Vegas, but there was an upgrade package to Premeir!

Shouldn't Sony start bundling their PC's with either VideoFactory (or whatever they're calling it now), and offer an upgrade to Vegas, to increase the user base. Sounds to me like it would be a win-win situation for Sony and those of us who want to keep Vegas as a product that has a larger user base and future version upgrades.
