Help > Contents and Index > Search tab > "keyframe" > Keyframe Animation.

ADDED: For the most part, Vegas Movie Studio doesn't have keyframing in video effects like the Pro version has. So if you watch some of the tutorials on Youtube where they talk about keyframes, we're out of luck in VMS.

that helped a lil but in the actual view where you see the preview and the tracks its not there i cant see it.

If you apply an FX to the track, you should be able to see the keyframes on the timeline, click on the small diamond at the lower left corner of the track header. Same with Track Motion.

Pan/Crop applied to Events (clips) are not visible on the timeline. You have to "open" each event to adjust pan/crop keyframes. FXs applied to Events don't have key frames available in VMS.
