Sony Vegas Crashing on start up

Hi, When I go to start my Movie Studio HD Platinum10

I'm getting a problem.

VegasMovieStudioPE100.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I have updated drivers and Direcx

This is is the Error Sinature

That's a pretty old machine.

Do you have the latest version of Quicktime? And do you have at least 30 gigabytes of free, clean, defragmented space on your C drive?

Also, your error message is indicating a temp file. When was the last time you did some system maintenance to clear off temp files and spyware?

Here's a great, free tool that I use to keep my system tuned up. I use it on my XP machine and it keeps it running better than new:

Hi again, I tried the system care utility it fix alot of errors but still getting the same problem
I have the latest Quicktime, aswell I have 125 gb of space on the C: Drive
I used to have vegas 6 on my compter and worked fine.
If you have any other thoughts that would be great.

I'm thinking my future is reformat.

Advanced System Care 4 is a very good tool, but I warn against using the reg cleaner. I had to do a restore after using the latter.

Another good cleaner is CCleaner. I'd advise using one of its functions to uninstall Vegas (it does it better than most uninstallers) then reinstall.
