This is my problem. It just started today, and it severely increases my Render time... Any way to fix it? I have a high end system, so it should not be a problem.
Those numbers indicate your preview display quality, frames and resolution. They have nothing to do with your actualy footage or what your finished output will look like.
Your preview quality can decrease for a number of reasons -- the most common being that your system is overburdened. Part of this is based on the limits of your hardware, and part of it is based on how efficiently your project is set up.
You can limit this by matching your project settings to your media. This is easy if you're using camcorder media -- but you appear to be using FRAPS or some sort of screen recording software.
That said, you can use Selectively Pre-Render Timeline to render your timeline. Again, this is for preview only and doesn't affect your video in any way. But it will make things run a bit more efficiently.
ever since the new update my render times have almost more then doubled. and im pretty sure using cuda is just an option to make you think it does something because its the same time using cuda or cpu only. i have an i7 6700k and an asus 980ti it should not take 1 hour to render a 17min long video 1080 60 should it?
