If you check "Show problem details" and show us these, maybe you or we are able to say something about a possible reason.

I was having the same kind of troubles, but only when rendering to one of the MPEG codecs made for DVD Architect. Setting the DRAM to 0 helped for one project, but not another. A work-around is to render to another format (other than the one you chose) and then take the rendered version, plop that onto a timeline and try rendering to the format you want. I do not know whether this is an issue caused by something in Vegas 14, a display adapter issue, or a memory handling issue. When I render to the SONY AVC formats I have not had any issues.

Yep, that's the alternative way I can think about when I can't think of other way - and make 'separate' renders part by part.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BCPdJmOuTdu/ - For this one probably the TrackFX color correction and adjustment makes this a lot of trouble...

mark003, try do separate render part-by-part to SonyMXF format or Sony AVCHD format (both are my personal preference), then from these separate 'master files', render to your target format.

You guys are the best! Rendrting to MXF worked. So, I guess I had a bad source file?

set wrote on 12/11/2016, 6:36 PM

Glad to hear it worked...

What is your source format?

I think this is all about processing resources / memory allocation / etc... My sources on above Instagram post is AVCHD format.

I worked a reunion and a guest made a slideshow and posted it to Youtube. They asked me to add it to the final DVD of the other work I did for them. So I recorded if from Youtube using Snagit in MP4 format. I asked for the original files a few times, but no response. I didn't expect it had issues, since it layed just fine. Thanks for the help.

If you're going to record or download a YouTube video (which is against their terms of service), at least use a service that grabs YouTube's original stream, such as Keepvid. Download the highest resolution MP4 version available. They play nicely in Vegas.
