Sony Vegas Platum 9 .0b

Hey all, question is, I have Vegas Platum 9.0
Do I have to remove this program before I can download the update 9.0b?

No. Just install.
Btw: the newest version is 9.0c.

What I see is that 9.0b is the latest version of Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. 9.0c is the latest version of Sony Vegas Pro.

Ah, yes, you are right - sorry: I'm a Pro user now - after several years as a Studio user.
