Sony Vegas Pro 16 STILL Not Reading .MOV Files

After hours of finding a solution, I've come to you guys for help. As the title says, Vegas just won't read my .MOV files even after installing and trying out every version of quicktime WITH all the added optional packs, the same error info pops up when trying to import a .mov clip no matter what I do and it's very troublesome. The .mov clips do work in quicktime by itself by the way. Furthermore, the render option for .mov files/quicktime isn't there either.

My previous laptop had no issues with reading .mov files in vegas and after moving vegas to my new laptop, it seems both .mov and .mp3 files don't work as intended, with .mp3's producing a digital screech. I assume picking up the vegas app files from google drive messed with it's components, so I've also been wondering if there's a replacement file to download, Thank you.

*Fixed* just did a fresh reinstall of vegas after deleting all my files and both mov and mp3 files work. Forgive my ignorance.

You should start with providing error message and your mov's file media info.
